Washington Aerospace Partnership

Dear Friend of Washington Aerospace,

This is shaping up to be an exciting week for the decision on where to build the next Air Force Tanker.

Boeing recently unveiled a great new website: www.unitedstatestanker.com. At the site, you can learn about the need for a new mid-air refueling tanker, read about Boeing’s history developing, building and improving tankers since the 1940s, read about Boeing’s KC-7A7 tanker specifications, and more. You can also sign up for updates direct from the company on the decision process. Visit today!

Also, we have learned that the Air Force will release the draft Request for Proposals (RFP) on the new tanker competition very soon…perhaps even by Friday. There will be a period of review and comment and you can be sure that the Washington Aerospace Partnership will be reading the draft and commenting on how to make sure the process is fair, open and guaranteed to give the US taxpayer the best airplane at the most competitive cost over the life of the program. Check our website for updates and forward this to your friends so they can join the team too: www.washington-aerospace.com!

Sincerely,
